Megs + Tyler // Moniker Wedding

It’s no secret that we love our friends at Moniker Group. They have been dreaming up some great things for this city for a while now! I mean they often host Creative Mornings for us, everyone who works there oozes passion and inspiration for their craft, and have you seen Moniker General yet?? Today’s wedding is a sweet collaborative effort that involved a great host of Moniker’s all-star team. Love when couples tap in to their local, creative community to make something entirely unique and personal.

Megs and Tyler were wholly intentional from the get go. We love when clients put their personalities into the day and make it truly representative of their relationship. They totally nailed this. From the custom pins for their guests, getting ready in Tyler’s workspace/tent headquarters, shots around the city they now call home, and taking time for just the two of them to take it all in. Yep, we loved being a part of this day. Thankful to now call these two lovely humans NEIGHBORS now too. And if you haven’t checked out their work yet, do it do it do it as they’re amazing creatives in their own right. Megs – Videographer Tyler – Bradley Mountain Founder

Ooooh! And we tried something a little different below. See if you can spot the gifs 😉

Kali + David // Millwick Wedding

Well we slowed down a smidge on our blogging game because wedding season is going off! We don’t have a weekend free until late November (phew!) but it’s all good because we have some pretty sweet, fun clients this 2016! Yay for them! Kali and David brought things off to a good start this spring with their quintessential LA wedding…

– Eclectic cool Airbnb getting ready spot √
– Modern, urban oasis gem of a location √
– Rooftop DTLA access (complete with airstream) √
– Legit Fusion Restaurant Catering √
– Serving their own custom cocktails to guests √
– And of course, the details…such good details √

These two took the time to honor their families and be entirely intentional throughout their day and were true wedding winners in our book. We’re just so thankful our paths crossed and that we got to know them! Huge shoutouts to the team on this one – Sweet Emilia Jane, Millwick Team, Theresa Huang, Starry Kitchen,  and DJ Art

Molly + Brennen // Ruffled Feature!

So we launched a new website! Pretty spiffy huh?! Thanks for being kind about the complete radio silence on our blog updating! We had been working away on this redesign (by “we” I mean Chadwick did all the re-designing work x100% and I made him coffee and obsessed over copy) for about 9 or 10 months and are so so so so excited to share it with you all today! To all of you who have done this or in process of making a website, oof, it’s hard! In a world where so much demands a careful digital presence it can be downright paralyzing to choose what to put where. We may toyed with a header that simply read – “insert cool, not overly-played phrase here” or “we are…bad at copy.” It’s scary to put yourself out there in to the internet world! Hopefully this place better conveys who we are, what we believe, and why we’d still rather get to know you in the real world too. So pop some champagne with us as we jump in to this new season for Gantes.Co!

And we could not think of a better way to kick it off then with a feature on the lovely Ruffled wedding website with one of our favorite couples to date! But honestly, Molly and Brennen are the best humans ever! Emailing with Molly, getting beers when they came to San Diego for their eng. session, and then arriving to the wedding to find the sweetest, most-heartfelt notes at our place settings…these two did it right. Everyone at their wedding kept echoing how it couldn’t be topped and perfectly fit who they are. It helped that they were down to run over to the random cotton field that was in bloom down the road at sunset. Because, why not?! Really though, so glad these two have stayed in touch and thrilled the wedding world gets to see all their hard work in making this day so special to all who attended.

You can see the full feature here.
